Looking for ways to earn community service hours this year? Our write a letter program gives you just that opportunity! Now is a better time than ever to give members of the homeless shelter a word of encouragement during these hard times. Please take a look at our writing tips and ways to verify your community service hours. Thank you for participating!
Writing Tips:
- Keep your letter 100% positive!
- Keep your letter anonymous! Maybe address the letter as anonymous or any synonyms like it.
- If you are NOT an Exeter Student:
Address the envelope to:

- Check for grammatical errors
- Be creative and make your letter colorful if possible
- (optional) Add a small gift to your letter like a travel size toothpaste, deodorant, ect.
- Make the letter genuine and encouraging with a happy and hopeful tone
- Most importantly: Have Fun! :)
How to verify your service hours:
- Contact Risha at: LoveHopeHomeInfo@Gmail.com
- Contact Risha through email with photo proof of the letters you have completed.
- Once we receive your letters, you may receive 30 minutes of service per letter.
- We will verify your hours with an online signature and whatever else you may need for your school.
How to verify your service hours for Exeter Students:
To verify community service hours, drop off your letters and a filled out community service form. We will get your form signed and drop it back at the office so your guidance counselors can record your hours.
